Elstow School Celebrates a Positive Ofsted Report

We are delighted to share the outcome of our recent Ofsted inspection, and we are incredibly proud of the recognition given to our school community. The final report highlights the strong and consistent standards we continue to uphold at Elstow School, reflecting the dedication of our pupils, staff, and families.

What stood out most in the report was the way our pupils were described by inspectors:

“Pupils are proud of their school. They show great empathy and respect towards each other... Pupils are very happy and feel safe in school.”

Creating a warm, respectful, and safe environment is at the heart of everything we do. It is wonderful to see our pupils’ kindness, attitudes, and conduct recognised so positively.

The report also praises the focus, independence, and high standards of learning that define our classrooms:

“Very high expectations of behaviour underpin everything at Elstow… Pupils are always focused and engaged in lessons. They are motivated and independent learners. They share and take turns with their peers without adult support.”

This reflects the unwavering commitment of our staff and the invaluable support of our families in fostering a culture of ambition, respect, and excellence. Most importantly, it highlights the way our pupils consistently rise to high expectations and take pride in their learning.
